Privacy Policy

PrintQuoteAI is operated by Damn Good Company ("PrintQuoteAI", "we", "us"). For your shop account data we act as the data controller. For the quote requests and customer details your own customers submit through your dashboard or embed widget, we act as a data processor on your shop's behalf — you control what your customers see and how you use their information.

We collect the information below to run the Service:

• Account information — your name, email address and authentication data, handled through our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Shop profile — shop name, URL slug, logo, contact email and phone, website, and your selected currency (USD, EUR or SEK).
• Pricing settings — your film, ink, powder, labor, waste, setup, quantity-tier and margin figures. This data is commercially sensitive and is only ever visible to members of your own shop account.
• Quote data — job tickets (job type, dimensions, quantity, rush status, artwork quality), your customer's name, email and company where provided, the raw request text they submitted, and any artwork files uploaded with the request.
• Usage data — pages visited, demo interactions, device and browser type, and IP address, collected via analytics cookies only where you have consented to them (see our Cookie Policy).
• Preferences — your language and theme choice, and your cookie consent settings.

We use the information above to operate and secure the shop dashboard and quote builder, calculate and store quotes against your pricing rules, run the embeddable widget on your website, authenticate you and your team, send service-related communications, provide customer support, and — in aggregated or anonymized form — improve the product.

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the Service you signed up for), based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform, with your consent for optional analytics and marketing cookies, and where necessary to comply with a legal obligation such as tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the following categories of subprocessor, each bound by a data processing agreement or equivalent safeguards:

• Hosting provider — runs the application server that delivers the Service.
• Supabase — provides authentication, database and file storage for account, shop, quote and artwork data.
• AI text-parsing gateway (optional) — when configured, receives only the raw request text pasted or submitted to extract structured job details. Pricing, cost and margin data is never sent to this service.
• Payment processor — once billing is enabled, will process subscription payments; we do not store full card numbers ourselves.

Our subprocessors may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism recognized under applicable data protection law.

We keep account, shop, pricing and quote data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize this data within a reasonable period afterward, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax or accounting obligations. Demo interactions are not saved and are never linked to a shop account.

We use encryption in transit, access controls limited to authorized personnel, and database-level row-level security so that one shop's pricing, quotes and customer data cannot be read by another shop. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential, analytics, marketing and embed-widget cookies as described in our Cookie Policy, which also explains how to change your consent at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. If you are in the EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY). The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify shop owners by email or in-app notice.
