Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PrintQuoteAI, including the public demo, the shop dashboard, the quote builder, the pricing rules engine and the embeddable quote widget (together, the "Service"), operated by Damn Good Company ("PrintQuoteAI", "we", "us").

By creating a shop account, using the demo, or installing the embed widget on your website, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a print shop or other business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business.

PrintQuoteAI turns a plain-language DTF (direct-to-film) print request into a structured job ticket and prices it against pricing rules that you configure — film, ink, powder, labor, waste, setup, quantity tiers, rush fees and margin. Quoted totals are displayed in the currency your shop has selected (USD, EUR or SEK).

The Service includes a shop dashboard for managing quotes and pricing settings, a quote builder for staff use, a public demo running on sample pricing, and an embeddable widget you can install on your own website so your customers can request quotes directly.

To use the shop dashboard you must create an account with accurate, current information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract, and if you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

Every quote the Service produces is a calculation based entirely on the pricing rules, costs, margins and settings you enter — including the currency you select for your shop. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of those inputs and for the prices you ultimately give your customers.

We do not review, endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any quote, and we are not liable for pricing errors, lost margin, or disputes with your customers that result from pricing rules you configured incorrectly or left out of date.

Paid plans, where available, are billed on a recurring basis in advance for the billing period you select. Displayed plan pricing is subject to change; we will give reasonable notice before a change affects your existing subscription.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

The public demo at printquoteai.com/demo runs on sample pricing rules that are not connected to any real shop account and do not reflect actual costs. Demo quotes are not saved, are not billed, and any request text you paste into the demo is processed only to generate the demo result.

If you install the embed widget on your own website, requests submitted through it are priced using your shop's pricing rules and stored in your quote history the same as quotes created in the dashboard.

You are responsible for how you use the widget on your site, including complying with your own legal obligations to your customers (such as your own privacy notice and any consent requirements that apply to collecting their name, email or artwork through the widget).

You retain all rights to the artwork, pricing data and other content you or your customers upload or enter into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

We and our licensors retain all rights to the PrintQuoteAI platform, software, branding and documentation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that intellectual property to you.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or scrape the Service beyond normal use of the dashboard, demo or widget.
• Send an unreasonable volume of automated requests to the demo, dashboard or embed endpoints, or otherwise interfere with the Service's availability.
• Upload artwork or other files that contain malware or that you do not have the right to upload.

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure to operate, including our hosting provider and Supabase for authentication, database and file storage. Where configured, request text may be sent to a third-party AI text-parsing service solely to extract job details — pricing, cost and margin data is never sent to that service. These providers are described further in our Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend the Service for maintenance, security or legal reasons. Where practical, we will give notice of changes that materially reduce functionality you rely on.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that quotes generated will be accurate, complete or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintQuoteAI and Damn Good Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost margin, arising from your use of the Service — including from pricing rules you configured. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold PrintQuoteAI harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your pricing rules, or your breach of these Terms, including claims brought by your own customers.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time; we recommend exporting your quote history first. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify shop owners by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
